Job Description:

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and the overall company. This position requires confidentiality. The duties of this position include, yet are not limited to:

  • Recruiting new employees, and recruiting/overseeing temporary employees
  • Training newly hired employees
  • Drug testing newly hired employees, as well as random drug testing of current employees
  • Presenting in-house trainings and coordinating outside trainings
  • Creating new hire personnel files, maintaining documents in personnel files, assist with the performance review process
  • Filing, making reference calls and other follow-up calls, assisting with company benefit renewals, and researching new benefits
  • Researching prices for product/services

We Are Looking for People Who:

  • Have good to excellent computer skills, and know these software programs: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Have a strong sense of confidentiality while handling sensitive information
  • Know how to navigate the internet, make updates to Facebook page, place ads, research, etc.
  • Are able to instruct in a fun and engaging way
  • Is enthusiastic, positive, creative, and self-motivated
  • Has great attention to detail
  • Has the ability to follow instructions
  • Is able to stay focused and work independently
  • Is able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Is able to build a positive rapport with people
  • Is dependable, loyal, and trustworthy
  • Possesses good verbal and written communication skills in English

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Must have good to excellent keyboarding and computer skills
  • Must have experience in clerical and/or human resources
  • Must have good to excellent people skills
  • Must support the company mission
  • Must pass a drug screen test, initially and randomly
  • Must pass a Dept. of Human Services Criminal Background
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
